2025: A Year of Change and New Beginnings
Journey to Wellness

Hello, this is Autumn. Today, I'd like to share with you the changes coming to my life in 2025 and the meaning of wellness I'm discovering along this journey.
A New Year, A Fresh Start

As January 2025 draws to a close, have you made your New Year's resolutions? This year holds special significance for me. With so many changes happening, I believe 2025 will become another turning point in my life.
The biggest change? I'm moving! There's so much to do. Although I regularly declutter, preparing for this move has revealed just how many things I need to let go of. As I sort through accumulated belongings one by one, I find myself also clearing out emotions that have been stored away in my heart.
Finding Courage to Embrace Change
In my younger years, I used to embrace and feel excited about change. But somewhere along the way, change became frightening. I grew accustomed to finding comfort in familiar spaces and routines. There's nothing wrong with finding security in stability - after all, who can define what happiness should be?
Yet here I am in 2025, facing significant life changes. While these sudden changes feel daunting and overwhelming at times, I'm choosing to embrace them with excitement. What about you? Do you have any new changes or plans for 2025? Shall we share this exciting journey together?
Building Healthy Daily Habits
1. Home Workouts
I have many plans for this year, with health being a top priority. Raising children makes it challenging to go out for exercise, so I'm committed to doing home workouts. Even if brief, I'm determined to make it a daily routine. I won't forget simple strength training exercises either. The goal is to move regularly, even if just for 30 minutes, whenever I can find the time.
2. Healthy Juices
Another habit I'm maintaining is making healthy juices for my family. My seven-year-old daughter has notably fewer minor illnesses since she started drinking them daily. Fellow moms might relate - when we're busy taking care of our children, we often neglect our own meals, making do with leftovers from our kids' plates. That's why I'm determined to at least maintain our healthy juice routine. How about starting your morning with a glass of healthy juice on an empty stomach?
3. Meditation

My biggest challenge this year is meditation. A close friend recommended it after experiencing its benefits, but for me, meditation is particularly challenging. With thoughts constantly racing through my mind and busy days filled with activities, how can I sit still for 10 or 20 minutes without thinking? While this represents a significant challenge, I'm determined to try. Especially during this time of change, I feel meditation might bring peace to my restless mind.
I've never considered myself talented at writing. However, I've always harbored a small dream of sharing my story someday. While I'm still figuring out exactly what stories to tell and how to tell them, I want to infuse this newsletter with my authentic self. Through this process of building my brand, I aim to write consistently, week by week, without fail.
5. Embarking on a Blogging Journey
I've started blogging - me, someone who never thought of myself as a writer. Life is truly unpredictable, isn't it? Who would have thought I'd be here, writing and sharing my thoughts? Now, I want to start checking off items from my bucket list, one by one. 2025 will be the first year of this journey, and though I might move slowly, I'm committed to staying consistent. While my bucket list holds many more dreams, this feels like the perfect way to begin this year.
While 2025 might be just another year for some, it holds special meaning for me, marking the official beginning of this newsletter. I plan to move forward slowly but surely in the right direction. I hope you'll join me on this journey.
My Mother's New Journey

Live your life to the fullest.
2025 brings significant changes for my mother too, who holds a special place in this newsletter. This February, she's finally retiring! After running tirelessly for so long, my mother is approaching her retirement. This will surely mark the beginning of a major life change for her. Since her youth, she's supported her younger siblings and served as our family's pillar. Even in retirement, I'm certain she'll find activities to keep herself busy - she's not one to sit idle. Now, though, she can manage her time more freely and live a more balanced, healthy life. Though she's getting older, I hope this somewhat early retirement brings more vitality and joy to her life.
My Mother's Wisdom for Healthy Aging
Mother has various post-retirement plans, including diabetes management. These include walking for 30 minutes daily, maintaining a diet rich in vegetables and protein, and drinking healthy teas. Recently, she's been enjoying various healthy teas more frequently. Since her blood sugar is relatively well-controlled, she focuses on teas that promote overall health rather than those specifically for blood sugar management.
Lately, she's been particularly fond of Kudzu root tea. According to research, Kudzu root tea reduces inflammation, improves bone health, protects the liver, and promotes detoxification. It also helps prevent age-related diseases through its antioxidant effects and benefits overall health improvement.
Creating an Active Daily Life
Mother believes that idleness can make the body ill, so she plans to continue some part-time work and social activities. She always strives to maintain a vibrant and productive lifestyle. One of her healthy hobbies is traveling with friends. While she's cut back on overseas travel due to age, she frequently enjoys domestic train and boat trips. She finds happiness in life's simple pleasures - sharing delicious meals with good friends, enjoying beautiful scenery, and laughing together. Though she's dealt with diabetes for many years, I believe she's maintaining a healthy lifestyle and will continue to enjoy a healthy aging process.
